Example: Collaborative Session

Run live sessions with shared context: co-edit relationship maps, track notes, and keep everyone aligned.

Example

Shared Collections

Share a collection with players or co-writers to collaborate in real time while you control who can edit.

  • Invite collaborators by role
  • Keep a "session" section for quick access
  • Attach reference images and handouts

Co-editing & Notes

Update maps as events unfold and jot quick notes with tags for follow-ups or reveals.

  • Mark new relationships during play
  • Flag items with "plot-hook", "rumor", "todo"
  • Use consistent names for fast search

Roles & Access

Choose who can edit vs. view so the session runs smoothly and edits don't conflict.

  • Viewer / Editor / Owner
  • Limit edits to designated scribes
  • Review sharing before sessions

Steps

  • Prepare a collection and share it with your group (set roles appropriately).
  • Create a "session-notes" section and tag notes by arc or chapter.
  • Open your relationship map; update edges as events unfold.
  • Flag new hooks or clues with tags so they're easy to find later.

Tips

  • Nominate one editor to avoid conflicting updates during tense scenes.
  • Use short, consistent tag vocabularies to keep things searchable.
  • After the session, review "todo" and "plot-hook" tags to plan next time.

Collaborative Session Preview

This preview is live: move your mouse over the graph and anyone else viewing this page right now will see your cursor, and you will see theirs. Open it in a second tab to try it. Editing still happens in the app.
